What have you done to your Elgrand today?

I'm trying to fit some JDM car parts auxiliary belts to stop the AC squeal at startup.
It looks like they may have sent the wrong one as it appears to be slightly too long and I have run out of tensioner.
Is the 3.5 wider one slightly longer than the 2.5 as I triple checked I had ordered the correct one before ordering?
I have refitted the old wider belt and the new AC belt so it is at least quiet now.

Hi, @foxhandybread, I haven't a model number as it appears to be a generic fridge, if you search on E-bay for "8L armrest freezer cooler" you will find quite a few, Alpicool do the same one, The prices vary wildly from £140 ish to approaching £200, I paid £101 from Aliexpress with free delivery from a UK site, so it took three days to arrive but you may have to search for it. The coolbox is stated as 8 liter but when I measured it I work it out as just under 6 liter, it will take 10 cans of coke though. They do a similar larger 12 liter for just over £200 but it won't fit in between the armrests as it is a little bit too wide, the cordless phone charger is bonus for me and it has one usb in the front and 2 usb's at the back, it's switchable for battery usage and cutoff voltage also so it shouldn't flatten your battery.
 
Passed this morning with just an advisory on anti roll bar bush wear. Tester said it's so slight I wouldn't have noticed.
Happy days. First bit of good news in weeks here! 😁

Many thanks, it sounds perfect. Best thing is I have a black and red carpet and black leather seats so the red stitching in black leather will look OEM!! I'll check out Aliexpress - brilliant stuff, much appreciated

Where did the chrome drivers mirror cover go? I mean if you don't want it there a good home in France.....
 
Patched up the front bumper after reversing down a grass bank only for a big rock to be hidden and scratch all up the near side..... Just need to find some G30 paint to complete it..

It looks like they did send the wrong one. As they do not want it back they said they are happy for me to pass it on to anyone needing it.

So I have one E51 3.5 Alternator belt for postage cost only.

Same, after 27 years of owning cars and hating private plate w@nker the second I got the Elgrand it just seemed right to become one.
