Robots programmed to rip you off as much as humans.... We had a click and collect at a Waitrose two weeks ago, in the middle of storm Darragh, so loading was rapid and had me, Mrs G and the unlucky shop staff bundling items into the boot in short order.
Upon arriving home half and hour later, discovered they had charged for six packets of butter as ordered, but only supplied one..... Thankfully easily rectified, but took three days to get through to a human to get a refund.
 
I'm a MASSIVE fan of traffic wardens.
I like it, as it take great joy, when selfish and lazy people get booked for double yellow line parking.
I don't mean 0.1mm in a bus lane jobs, or 0.3cm in a central junction yellow box jobs, or slight of hand private parking jobs, just glorious traffic wardens enforcing double yellow line parking. I like that and I like it when people are booked for it.

The driver of that vehicle many be entitled to park there.
 
Funny one just now. I never do short journeys in my MX-5 (as in zero), but over winter I only drive it when lots of rain has washed salt away. In my area they salted a week ago, and although it's been foggy as heck, no rain. My MX-5 disks looked like they really needed a clean (braking) as the last thing I want is to kill it with kindness and have pitting. And after the forecast heavy rain in a few days, it's then predicted to be a cold snap, with grit city. Anyway, stressed at going into the big wide world in it, and kind of caught between two weather systems and having not driven it for 3 weeks, I did the grenade option and drove it around my loop/cu-de-sac (which obviously is essentially salt free) after dark accelerating and breaking etc. I idled it for a good 6 mins before going, and the same when I finished. Only me, surely, would do 3 miles! lol going around my cul de sac, say 15 times. Not the best for the engine, a journey like that, but I thought once a winter is hardly the worst thing. Still, it was cool having the top down for 15 loops of my estate. I did ask my Mrs twice when I drove past the house if she fancied a spin, but for some reason she declined. The brake disks now look sweet.

I can't understand why she didn't fancy a spin round the cul-de-sac a few times lol
 
WTF, just typed in google "vans with scoops" looking for inspiration for the new bonnet and ended up trolling through 250 fooocking ice cream vans. changed my search to "custom bonnets "and you'd think it was friggin easter so changed my search again to "small bulge"----i give up lol

When your missus gets mad because you were searching the net to buy car stuff and intake scoops you could always show her you were actually looking for small bulges and, err, inspiration... :p

well i went to the hospital today to pick up a prescription no problem went to the pharmacy gave it in and was told 20 min wait no problem half an hour later, the pharmacist called me to say we do not stock this medicine here and the doctor has not put a dose or amount of days you need to take it wtf she said I need to speak to the doctor as she could not get him on the phone ffs so took it back to reception where I picked it up from to get them to sort it at which point they rang the pharmacy to confirm everything I told them left it in their hands to get sorted aparently I have a kidney infection that needs clearing before I have minor day surgery
