Only been on here almost 5 years so it's taking a while. Been & bought the very one I drove back in June 2022. Strangely whilst I went to post this after my it's me post the forum crashed again for me just as I said it would. So starting this post again today. Either the laptop or forum went into shock.

Driving home I got used to it and I'm loving the reversing camera and folding mirrors.

Anyhow I had 3 to choose from and each one was a compromise and it boiled down to which of those compromises I was prepared to make. It has way more legroom than I remember which is good. But I felt like I was sat a lot lower than I remember.

All the blue will be going as will the pin stripes and puff on the rear window. It's gonna piss a lot of the neighbours off now I have 2 vehicles again as they've all lost the parking space outside our house they've got used to taking.

Ogled the pic, looked at it on CCTV, saw a glint of pearl under the street lamp at 3:30am on my way to work and see a pic of project smokey...Matt black me thinks 👍👍

So many have joined, bought, sold and left before I've become an owner. I told @bandit I takes a long time, he thought a few months was a long time 🫪

Can't find member called bandit?? I'm sure there was one

Oh and that exhaust note coming to life 👌👌😎😎, sounds better than my gti

Gave the Lady a wash (and wax top up) honestly the GTechniq C5 on the wheels is just phenomenal! Wash and wipe over with microfiber afterwards and they come up like this again 🥰 DEFINITELY recommend that product! Ready to head to @Gonzo12c on Sunday for a backbox swap and a nice Bahn engine cover 👌🏻

Not me but the wife came home from park run and said no more puff and promptly removed him and the go faster pin stripes. The constant heat apparently helped and he came off very easily 👍
 
Just in from work, turned into my road to see no puff and no stripes. Caught a glimpse of pearl again and started questioning my Matt black decision. I'll get at least paint the grill black and either paint or replace the handles and see how things are then.
 
1000031616.jpg1000031617.jpgAll packed for France, 7 man tent and additional porch area - over 9m long in total, kitchen setup including a 65l fridge freezer, cooking equipment, gas stove, 2 tables, 4 Large camp chairs, sofa and 2 other indoor chairs, 2 massive double mattress and all our sleeping bags etc - plus more bits, these really do swallow up the luggage don't they 😆 still got load's of room on the suspension too 👌🏻(back row of seats removed so we're rocking a 4 seater guzzle bus at the moment 🤍)

Better still I could just dig a hole right outside the door - just have to remember to check the wind is the correct way to blow into the tent 😆
