What have you done to your Elgrand today?

Investigated the audio issue further and by this I mean I changed mode selection in the HU to see if the loss of sound on the passenger side was across all modes and it appears that it’s only the aux mode that is affected.

Do you have rear only selected on the vehicle, Japanese audio, remote control?
Try pressing the button again?

I had this happen. Fauty lead caused it. Changed the cable to the rca sockets and problem solved.

My video signal to the VTR input was working intermittently last time we went on a road trip, unplugged and replugged and it came back to life.

However, it turned out that at some point I'd slid the seat into the connector and cracked metal on the pin. Only discovered by chance much later when I pulled the RCA connector out and it left the metal behind.

Thanks I didn’t think about this as I thought it only spilt audio to the headsets. Have checked it though the kids do use the headsets occasionally but it made no difference.

Thanks I’ll check the cable as it could have got damaged when I put the side panel back on after laying the protective matting.

I’ve probably damaged the cable/ plug. Will check when I take the rear seats out again for camping season.

This is different in a Series 3 compared to Series 1&2 which can only split the audio using the speakers.

Ah that makes sense as I remember reading another of your posts where you said you could split the audio with the speakers as well.

Even when ignition is off and doors be locked, they glow.

LEDs are also photoreceptors, they also maybe picking up residual current caused by inductance.
Park it up for a week, if the battery's flat then you have a leak somewhere.....
