I've seen that exhaust on quite a few Highway Stars. Is it an option on the Highway Star?
I think it's actually std on the Rider?

Does it sound a bit different from the normal Highway Star exhaust, or is it just aesthetic?

I've got an XL (previous owner swapped rear bumper out, guessing they damaged the original as this one has scrapes too but on the auction sheet it had full aero kit) I can't comment as I've only heard this one - it's going to be on Gonzo's tomorrow 👌🏻

Got to love the G30 flip

Used the battery jet wash I got from Aldi this week for £25. Hosepipe ban approved, bucket fed. Useful bit of kit.

Anyhow I had 3 to choose from and each one was a compromise and it boiled down to which of those compromises I was prepared to make. It has way more legroom than I remember which is good. But I felt like I was sat a lot lower than I remember.

All the blue will be going as will the pin stripes and puff on the rear window. It's gonna piss a lot of the neighbours off now I have 2 vehicles again as they've all lost the parking space outside our house they've got used to taking.

At last @P4ddy !!! Sod the neighbours, I live in a terraced street of 29 houses, I park an Elgrand, 7.5metre motorhome, a tow car and a 5ft trailer, I'm popular lol.
 
Drove it to lee on Solent to go for a run, put the screen onto live fuel watch. It's now up to 5.1km/l from 4 😆. Was driving it in power mode though. Also my calculations were correct...an E51 DOES fit between our gates and onto the drive AND I can shut the gates



One issue though, I can't reset the trip, I've pressed and held but it will not reset. Must be something simple.
 
Doing a dry clean on daisey today … my wife does have a blue badge so could use a hose if I don a dress n wig , been told NO as even with a beard I would still look too gorgeous … no pleasing some people ..
 
We've just given ours a thorough clean inside and tried out the seats as a bed. Given what everyone says I was not expecting them to be sleeepable comfort but both the wife and I agree we could easily sleep on them as they are. Them dips seem to be in the right places.

You can get a set of cushions / infills that flatten out the dips ..custom made for the Elgrand.. believe me it’s not as comfortable for a good nights sleep .. laying on them for two minutes is not like 8 hours sleep .. I opted for a full size fold down bed that I can put in after taking all the rear seats out ..

Had a great day out around Nottingham, picked up the roof bars from Gonzo12c and went to Newstead abbey for the afternoon, 260km running perfectly as usual. But running on gas started off with dist to empty showing 427km, got home on dist to empty showing 641km, does this mean I am producing fuel as I travel, how economical is that!20260809_160315.jpg
