I bet if you found £300 fluttering along the pavement you would leave it as it's "theft by finding" ;o)))))
I think I might hand £300 in at the local police station and hope no one claims it. £50 I probably wouldn't bother.

Made a start on the horrific rust at the rear, once I started removing the rust it actually started to look promising, not as bad as I thought!
Hey I even managed to save the two bolts that held on the original cover! lol
Also changed the wheels over to my winter set (better tyres for the APK).

Had an argument with a deer.
Splitter seems to have taken most of the impact, so might just take it off.

I did manage to retrieve the foglight trim from the verge and it looks ok, so will refit tomorrow in the daylight.
Is the splitter original factory fit, reason i ask is, if it is there are six bolts holing it and the holes will show when removed ;)

It's no wonder the rear aircon pipes give up.

No idea if it was factory, all the bolts appear to be on the underside.
They are in the face of the bumper , so are above the splash shields you can't see them without removing the shield , the ones you can see are only half of them (made to stay on lol)

my splitter is held on with six screws two on the wheel arch on both sides and two behind the number plate

yeh, different splitters Bob
HWS factory splitter has bolts and are as awkward as can see them around the top edge (the holes anyway lol)

Mine doesn't look deep enough in the middle to have any fixings from behind, but I'll have to remove the splash guard and have a look.

There are definitely 2 bolts in the wheelarch and half a dozen underneath the front.

Trust me , if it's original , they are there
just don't go pulling it till you've checked mate ;)

Haven’t been about much over the last year for various reasons and haven’t posted any of the jobs I’ve done but going to post the pic form my rear suspension thread on here so as many people see it as possible…
Today I replaced the nearside rear lower control arm with a used one. Don’t ignore noises or make presumptions that certain components are at fault and you’ll be alright for a bit longer. Thought it was a bush but the arm itself had failed.
