Got to wait 2 weeks for someone from Permobil to come and assess it to start with! Why is nothing straight forward anymore!
Also got court on Monday about the bathroom, the sh*t the council are coming up with is laughable, trying to gaslight us. in front of the court with rubbish like transferring Yasmin from one hoist to another which is literally impossible as they use slings and no one transfers from a hoist to a hoist! :rolleyes: :mad:

Thanks for asking buddy.
I will explain in a few days literally brain is like cabbage at the moment!
Just had to empty all the essentials from the Elgrand as we are borrowing a wheelchair bus so Yasmin can actually take her wheelchair further than our town, as currently we have no vehicle to accommodate transporting it as its rather large and heavy!
We are picking this up tomorrow (Toyota Proace Verso City to borrow for a few days, going to be interesting as its left hand drive and manual, but at least Yasmin will finally be comfortable rather than using a fold up wheelchair!
Hopefully it won't break down as its still not been fully sorted, but they say its fine to use.... easy for them to say as if it breaks down it weighs 180 kilos on it own!

Could I please ask everyone to say a pray for Miami, unfortunately she has taken a turn in the past few days probably due to the amount of mold still within the home! Her swallowing has got a lot worse and is struggling to drink and eat!
We have the vet coming over in the next few hours to check her vitals. Its incredible that she is still here after we were told that awful news last October so we should be thankful. Please please keep all fingers and toes crossed that she can pull through!

13 and 5 months buddy which is pretty incredible for a Golden Retriever!
Vet just came and gave her antibiotics and a steroid injection, she said her temperature was a little raised.
Thanks for the support guys its much appreciated.
 
Miami Update:

Touch wood she has improved and is now gaining more of an appetite and also drinking well. 10 days ago we were thinking this was the end of the road but no she keeps on fighting like my wife! Her throat has improved and we are now introducing high strength Manuka Honey into her diet as apparently its meant to be very good for trachea collapse. I just gave it to her and for the first time she licked it off the spoon rather than me having to administer it! She is such an astonishing dog and amazes me everyday how she looks after my wife Yasmin! Thank you all for your support its greatly appreciated and clearly does help, I pray we have this Christmas with her! 🤞
