I went to the great Kwik fit, wasn't so great, went back twice, gave in, some 6 or so months, forgot all about it till the post from @Tino
I decided to check mine, needs done, I'll do it all by myself
Ordered new tyres, so I'll put this up might help someone, while I wait on them coming.
Blowing a gale, so abandoned for now.
A picture paints a thousand words, but as a member I can't post any!! So I have to go to a site how long it lasts, well it's your loss.

I adjusted it as far as it would go, yes I have HD springs+ stuff

Wheel back on, but still not fully rested ( would need to rock or move to get correct read) but as you can see it's not to bad.

Now for the toe,

Quite a bit to come in

Well I'm afraid the bush is done, bolt is stuck, I've lubed, will leave for now, but I have to order another, so I'll wait for it to arrive before I move on

If I remember right , your suspension set up was very active in that destruction
Indeed…. Mixed with wide wheels and odd offset, never hit the arch though unless I had my Mrs in, then the Cats would drag along the tarmac. 😬

Mine also has no sign of rubbing anywhere on the car just the edges, also I'm not lowered but granted they are 8j but loads of space around them. Will have a go with your pics over the weekend after I've measured them. How does the string thing work?cant see how you would measure toe like that 🤔 Thanks for the tag!13200.jpg
I have no sign of any rubbing on the arch
It has not been lowered

String thing, ok will try to explain, the string will be a straight edge, if you wrap the string all the way round, the reason is to make sure the fronts are straight.
I put the boot up, tie the end, as photo, wrap round under the bumper, along wheel to wheel, under front bumper, round number plate, under front bumper, wheel to wheel under rear bumper tie on boot hook
You have to keep tight, then adjust string at wheels
Hopefully you have it, turn steering wheel untill same gap on string both sides.
If you have no spacers, the rear is 5mm ( if I remember correctly) narrower than the front, so you put a cable tie ( flat ) on the front tyres, under the string, to even it, ( a bit tape will hold it )

Once you done it, drive, then check again, as it needs to settle.

It's really just a starting point, once set, if you have new tyres, once you go a drive, you can feel the ridges on the tyres, sharp edges ( night be outside or inside) so it's not quite correct, ( need a bit more adjustment, in or out ) if smooth all over you have it spot on

I'll be a few more days before I continue mine, hopefully with photos

Success!
So bit cold this morning, eventually started on bus
Got the stuff so I can cut it off

Well, have the bolt a go, it turned, so what did I do soak it in, not the crappy wd40, I put 50/50 cartrol 5w30ll and 40wd, yes 40wd.
Si my day just got better

Back at it, since the weather has improved.
So the n/s/r I can't get the camber correct, the upper arm bush has gone, don't think any rubber left, I did order another, but as we all know the post is a bit hit and miss, so I'll just have to go with it for the moment.
The other side is about 👍, but no point in playing with it until I get it fixed.
I guess it's just the Elgrand way
That should have been picked up at the he MOT, guess he was kind, for once.1000004301.jpg

Makes sense going round the 4 wheels.was trying to work out just the rears 🤣

The weather and bits were not on my side, today was the only day I could finish

I had to get it done today, I had to push on, so no photos, as we know the weather is turning.
Hopefully you'll be fine, just pre soak the 4 adjustable points
Putting a string line round gives a better vision as to what's needing adjusted, the ground should be level, all the gaps from the tyres to the arch should be the same ( ground level)
As the points that adjust are not in the center, adjusting one will alter the other, for instance if you move it the camber 1000004260.jpgit will move the wheel in and out, but it will also be pulled forward or backwards because the toe is still fixed

The spirit level gives you the vertical
If you go to a garage and they can't adjust one you still need to pay, it's not there fault.
