Best Drive Away Awning for 2019 E51??

Hi All,

I am on here on behalf of my dad who bought a 2019 Elgrand E51 LPG conversion, He absolutely loves the van (so do I) and bought it mainly for camping, it came with a CAMPAL unit which he doesn't get on with so is looking to sell and a rear awning which doesn't fit very well.

We are looking for some advise as to which driveaway awnings fit these vans best and which is the best method to attach them, we are not adverse to attaching a awning rail if that is what is required.

Yes Vango Low. After this week I will be selling mine as we've decided on buying a small caravan.

Normally guide ropes go over your bus , some with fit into a rail .. all depends on what you buy,, we have the decathlon inflatable side drive away awning .. two guide ropes go over the roof and secured with tent pegs the other side ..

We have Vango Faros Low. Attach it to awning rail plus driveway kit - so you can use the van. Handy. Not the biggest of awnings but cleverly designed. Easy to put up. I have now also mastered how to get it back in the bag with ease.

HI All, thank for all the help, Dad went with the Vango Kilda Air Stream, as didn't need a lot of space and is perfect. Fits really well with just the straps and is going to consider an awning rail.
