I got my refund via PayPal... I did set up a payment dispute though so don't know if that was why I got my money back

The Facebook page got taken down due to a lot of nasty comments.
I messaged through instagram, and was told it could take up to 14 days for the refund to come through. However that date has been and gone and still not received anything.
Karl messaged the organisers private profile on Facebook and got a similar story to mine. But don’t belief he’s had any money back yet either.
I’m not desperate for the tenner refund, but out of principle I want it now!

I agree, even if they were honest about the whole situation and we're struggling to pay the money back for whatever reason you could maybe cut them some slack but to just go quiet and disappear like that, bang out of order. Not the money it's the principle.
Luckily PayPal protected me, still worth contacting your bank or credit card company for a chargeback...
